These strategies work where medicine fails

Your child’s doctor likely doesn’t have all the answers, and neither do I. But using the strategies I teach in this course (the very same ones I used to RECOVER both of my sons from Sensory Processing Disorder), your child CAN live a better, more functional life with fewer symptoms from diagnoses they don’t deserve.

In this course, you’ll learn:

  • The role environmental toxins play in your child’s development
  • How to use nutrition to boost healing in a growing brain
  • The role that stress plays in your child’s symptoms
  • How food sensitivities and allergies affect your child’s behavior
  • Biomedical interventions and therapies that WORK
  • How to work with your doctor or other health practitioner
  • And so much more!

“Brennan was assessed by the social worker today and he’s meeting all 16 month milestones!!!!!!!! I can’t believe it!!!!!! 9 months ago I thought he was destined to a life of disability and now he has a real shot at a somewhat “normal” life. I’m just so amazed with his progress. She closed his file today because he’s no longer in the “red/monitor zone”! I’m one happy momma!”

– Melissa Crawford, MD, Ontario, Canada

Moms and Dads: There’s plenty in here for you, too

Parents of children with developmental delays have a co-occurring condition I call PTSD - Perpetual Traumatic Stress Disorder. The stress and worry, the anxiety about the future, the helplessness you feel when you’re giving all you’ve got but can’t make progress - it wears you down. You’re only human.

In this course, I’ll give you plenty of information and advice to help YOU cope better with the mountain of responsibility you carry as the parent of a child with one of these disorders.

Week 1

Adrenal issues:

Most chronic illnesses and conditions are exacerbated by stress. I teach you how to undo these effects with diet and lifestyle choices.

Week 2

Thyroid issues:

Thyroid issues are intimately linked to the adrenals and are key for someone who is sick a lot.

Week 3

Food choices:

Many of the foods that we’ve been told are “healthy” are not. I debunk a lot of food myths for you.

Week 4

Inflammation:

Chronic inflammation is a key component of any chronic illness or disease. I show you how to undo this vicious cycle.

Week 5

Gut dysbiosis:

Many factors in our modern life such as antibiotics, medication and stressful lifestyle lead to an unhealthy flora balance in our gut.

Week 6

Boosting your immune system:

Did you know that most of your immune system is located in your gut? Gut health is intimately connected to brain health; the gut is the "second brain."

Week 7

Gut-healing diet overview:

I walk you through different gut-healing diet options and explain their pros and cons.

Week 8

Implementing a gut-healing diet:

After you’ve selected your gut-healing diet of choice, I’ll help you get it going.

Week 9

Toxicity:

Toxins in our environment, including ones we’re born with, play a huge role in chronic inflammation and in the etiology of neurodevelopmental disorders.

Week 10

Detoxification, including methylation and sulfation:

There are many ways to detoxify, including much that can be done with food choices.

Week 11

Mitochondrial dysfunction:

The mitochondria in our cells are the power generators of our bodies, and they are increasingly getting gunked up by toxins. I’ll walk you through ways to unclog them.

Week 12

Detoxifying your home and life:

It doesn’t do much good to make all of these positive changes if you’re continuously being exposed to toxins in your everyday life! I’ll guide you through making positive changes.

“Maria was invaluable in helping me improve my own health and that of my two children who have Sensory Processing Disorder. She provided tons of personal support, listening ear and resources such as informative webinars, specialist referrals, product names, recipes, just to name a few. I would have needed to spend countless hours to even come close to discovering all of those by myself.”

Recovering my boys from Sensory Processing Disorder

When my boys were babies, they had every health problem you can imagine: developmental delays, projectile vomiting, low muscle tone, allergies, asthma, you name it. They were “failure to thrive” babies, both of them. My oldest didn’t walk until he was 20 months old. I couldn’t take them to the grocery store or the playground because all the sights and sounds would throw them (and our plans for the day) into total overload. We were prisoners to their diagnosis: Sensory Processing Disorder.

Pills and PTSD (Perpetual Traumatic Stress Disorder)

My pediatrician, gastroenterologist, and tons of other doctors tried to help us. But having my boys on over 10 medications a piece was not only not helping, it seemed like a tragedy to have my two babies taking as many daily medications as an 80-year-old man. And of course, that stress took a toll on me. I felt exhausted, isolated, and the worries never let up - something I call PTSD - Perpetual Traumatic Stress Disorder. “Will my child ever have friends?” “Will they ever fall in love and have a family?” It tore my heart out to see them suffer.

So I put my research skills to work

I used to work on Wall Street as an equity research analyst on the sell side, and I would do financial analysis and tell people whether they should buy or sell a stock. I've taken those same analytic skills and used them to help recover my kids.

I found solutions that WORK - and I want to share them with you

My boys are RECOVERED. What medical science told me was impossible was, in fact, possible. I just had to look outside the medical establishment to find the answers my boys needed to heal. What I’ll share with you in this course are not woo-woo New Age fads you’ve probably already seen online. The strategies and therapies I teach are backed with a ton of scientific and experiential research, and they WORK. My boys are proof of that.

Imagine where your child could be in just 3 months!
