MY APPROACH

My approach in health coaching helps you recover your child from symptoms of:

  • Autism
  • ADHD
  • Sensory Processing Disorder
  • “Almost autism”
  • PDD-NOS

This type of coaching supports your child’s adrenal health and thyroid health while controlling inflammation, which is a hallmark of neurodevelopmental disorders.

I can teach you which diet, lifestyle and therapy choices can help recover your child’s health as well as how they affect gut dysbiosis and immune dysregulation.

In addition, each child is different, so I help you understand the pros and cons of each type of intervention as it relates to your child.

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your child’s life are connected.

The Whole Family

For no additional charge, I look at health issues for the whole family, especially mom, because there’s a really good chance that mom has health issues of her own that are typically related to her child’s issues.

In addition, if your child has siblings, the siblings may also be exhibiting “soft signs” or diagnoses that can be related as well.

I like to educate the whole family about why they have health issues and what they can do about them.

I especially like to help mom get a handle on her own health, also known as “putting on the oxygen mask before you help others”.

Health Goals

Together, we’ll work to reach your child’s health goals in areas such as:

  • Clearer thinking; more attention
  • Better sleep; more sleep
  • Less abdominal pain or GI issues
  • Fewer allergies
  • Less anxiety
  • Fewer tantrums
  • Less stimming
  • Less sensory sensitivities
  • Fewer behavioral issues

As we work together, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for your child and implement lasting changes that will improve your child’s focus, energy, balance and health.

Here are some concepts that we will explore during our work together:

Bio-individuality™:

The concept of bio-individuality is that each child has unique food and lifestyle needs.

One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets tend to fail in the long run.

Working on the principle of bio-individuality, I’ll support you to make positive changes that are based on your child’s unique needs.

I use a personalized, holistic approach to ensure that you will have great success!

Primary Food™:

It’s easy to overlook all of the things that contribute to our sense of nourishment and fulfillment.

It’s not just the food we eat, but all of the other factors present in our daily lives.

Healthy relationships, regular physical activity and a spiritual awareness are essential forms of nourishment.

When these “primary foods” are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary.

Your child can eat the most perfect diet in the world, but if he or she is stressed, then that stress overrides all other health concerns.
